The girls fell 117-53 and the boys did as well 106-66 to the strong David Douglas Swim Teams. However, the Thursday swim meet at David Douglas brought out some stellar early season swims from the Eagles. Sarah Arpag continued her dual meet individual win streak by winning both the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke events, while Luke was a double winner for the boys in both the 200 freestyle and 100 freestyle events.
Faith Ocheskey was 1st in the 100 freestyle and 2nd in the 50 freestyle against the Scots. Connor McElwee swam to top honors by winning the 100 butterfly, and he also was 3rd in the 50 freestyle. Celilo Brun placed 3rd in both the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke. Gavin Hackett had a strong showing with 3rd in the 100 butterfly and 2nd in the 100 backstroke. Clayton Lee swam to 2nd in the 100 free and 4th in the 200 IM while David Hecksel swam to a personal best in the 200 IM for 2nd.
Other point scoring Eagles included Chloe Bullock in the 200 and 500 freestyles, Adam Burke in the 200 and 500 freestyles, Lucas Elliott in the 100 breaststroke, Hazel Farr in the 50 and 100 freestyles, Madaket Greenleaf in the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly, Henry Jones in the 100 breaststroke, Neilly Kendall in the 200 IM and 100 backstroke, Mary Rose Kissinger in the 500 freestyle, Pen Paphanchith in the 200 IM, Teddy Parkinson in the 100 breaststroke, Tristin Smith in both the 50 and 500 freestyles, and Owen Summersett in the 100 and 200 freestyle events.
