Boys Swimming Ties One – Loses One in Portland

The HRVHS boys swim team competed in a double dual with David Douglas and Centennial last night.  They tied with Centennial 81-81, and were downed by David Douglas 102-66.  The strong combination of David Hecksel, Ethan Yoakum, Chad Klaas and Luke Southall scored big points by winnng both the 200 Medley and 200 freestyle relays. 

Boys Swimming Wins First Dual Meet of the Season

The HRVHS Boys Swim Team won their first dual meet of the season with 99-35 finish over The Dalles Riverhawks today at the Hood River Aquatic Center. Leading the Eagles today were David Hecksel, Chad Klaas and Ethan Yoakum. David won the 200 IM & 200 free. Chad won the 50 free and 100 back.

Boys Swimming loses close match against Gresham 72-80

The Boys Swim Team lost their opening meet by only 8 points against Gresham – 72 -80. It was a full team effort, in that all boys who swam scored points for the Eagles. Leading the point total was Ethan Yoakum won won both the 50 free and 100 breaststroke. Captain Chad Klaas took 2nd
